Country code Each country is associated with a two- or three-digit code. When dialing
outside of North America, you will dial 011 + the country code + the city code +
the local phone number. An example of a country code is 91, the code used to reach
someone in India. If you are in North America and want to reach someone in Bombay,
India, you would dial 011 + 91 + 22 (the city code for Bombay), then the local number.

Hello, I wanted to connect to my bluetooth enabled phone with my Tunsten E2 palm. Is there a walkthrough for this? I seem to be having problems. I have wireless internet on my mobile phone and my palm can connect to my phone, this is represented by a small green icon on the upper portion of my phone screen, but for some reason it will not connect me. I get no error messages so I do not know what to fix. Any help please? Thank you.Post relates to: Tungsten T2
Directory Assistance Service This service occasionally comes with an attached fee
that might be charged to your account on a per-use basis. It allows you to contact
an operator with access to a database of directories and listings. So, if you’re
on the road and find that you are unable to locate a phone number or address, your

I have a Windows XP Pro laptop connected to the internet through the USB modem in a Telus Treo 700p (using Palm Tether). It works to the extent I can surf the public internet, but the SonicWall Global VPN client on my laptop does not. I’ve had Telus configure my connection with a static IP - no luck. I can ping the VPN server, but don’t get a login. Telus Support says the 700p doesn’t support laptop VPN clients, but I find this hard to believe if the 700p can run its own VPN client - unless Telus is intentionally steering such business to their PCMCIA EVDO card.Has anyone had any success getting VPN clients on laptops to work this way?Post relates to: Treo 700p (Alltel)
Disconnect fee A disconnect fee is a hidden charge that some phone card companies
charge against the balance of your calling card every time you hang up. Not all
companies charge disconnect fees.

I am unable to get my contacts to sync from Outlook to the Treo 750. I have tried using both ActiveSync 4.2 and 4.5 with the same results - after running activeSynce setup, I connect the Treo and use setup wizard, making sure the checkbox for Contacts is selected. After the synce, the contacts are not present on the phone. When I open activeSync on the phone and select options, the Contacts entrybox is unchecked and greyed out, and I cannot select it. Subsequent activesyncs do not show contacts as being synced. I am running Windows XP media center edition on my computer with Outlook 2003. can anyone help? Post relates to: Treo 750 (Cingular)
